Lt Governor\u2019s message on the eve of \u2018Martyrdom Day\u2019 of Guru Arjan Dev Ji<\/strong><\/div>\n
JAMMU, JUNE 13:<\/strong> Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has paid rich tributes to Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the Fifth Sikh Guru, on the eve of his 415th Martyrdom Day and called upon the people to follow the great teachings and path shown by the great Guru, who sacrificed his life for protecting the rich traditions of humanism and pluralism.<\/div>\n
In his message, the Lt Governor said that Guru Ji\u2019s unparalleled sacrifice is a perpetual source of inspiration for all of us and for the coming generations. \u201cGuru Ji\u2019s message of peace and non-violence has become more relevant in this modern life and needs to be imbibed by one and all. His vision of equality of all human beings continues to inspire and guide us\u201d, he added.<\/div>\n
The Lt Governor observed that the momentous compilation of Adi-Granth Sri Guru Granth Sahib by Guru Arjan Dev Ji, is an ocean of knowledge and wisdom, guiding humanity to create a society based on the cardinal principles of peace, progress, and prosperity for all.<\/div>\n
