\nIndia’s Active Caseload declines below 10 Lakh mark after 66 days<\/p>\n

Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for more than a month<\/p>\n

Recovery Rate increases to 95.43%<\/p>\n

Daily Positivity Rate stands at 4.72%, less than 10% positivity for 3 weeks<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

DELHI : 14 JUN 2021<\/strong><\/div>\n

India continues to report a sustained slide in the daily new COVID cases. The country has reported\u00a070,421\u00a0<\/strong>Daily New Cases in the last 24 hours. Less than 1 lakh Daily New Cases<\/strong>\u00a0have been reported for\u00a07 continuous\u00a0days\u00a0now<\/strong>. This is a result of sustained and\u00a0collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in the active caseload. The country\u2019s Active Caseload today stands at 9,73,158.\u00a0The Caseload has declined below 10 lakh mark after 66 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a053,001\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only\u00a03.30%<\/strong>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases\u00a0for 32 consecutive\u00a0days now.\u00a01,19,501\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Nearly 50,000 (49,080)\u00a0<\/strong>more\u00a0recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Out of the people infected\u00a0since the beginning\u00a0of the pandemic,\u00a02,81,62,947\u00a0people have already recovered from COVID-19\u00a0<\/strong>&\u00a01,19,501\u00a0<\/strong>patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of\u00a095.43%,\u00a0<\/strong>which is showing a sustained increasing trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With substantially ramped up testing capacity across the country, a total of\u00a014,92,152\u00a0tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. Cumulatively, India has conducted nearly 38 crore (37,96,24,626) tests so far.<\/p>\n

While on one side testing has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed.\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 4.54%<\/strong>\u00a0while the\u00a0Daily Positivity rate stands at 4.72% today.\u00a0<\/strong>It has remained less than 10% for 21 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a025,48,49,301<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 35,32,375sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today.<\/p>\n
