India continues to report a sustained slide in the daily new COVID cases. The country has reported\u00a060,753\u00a0<\/strong>Daily New Cases in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Less than 1 lakh Daily New Cases<\/strong>have been reported for\u00a012 continuous\u00a0days\u00a0now<\/strong>. This is a result of sustained and\u00a0collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001UI35.jpg\"India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in the active caseload. The country\u2019s Active Caseload today stands at 7,60,019.\u00a0This is the lowest reported active cases after 74 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a038,637\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only\u00a02.55%<\/strong>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases\u00a0for 37 consecutive\u00a0days now.\u00a097,743\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Nearly 37 thousand\u00a0(36,990)\u00a0<\/strong>more\u00a0recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.<\/p>\n

Out of the people infected\u00a0since the beginning\u00a0of the pandemic,\u00a02,86,78,390\u00a0people have already recovered from COVID-19\u00a0<\/strong>&\u00a097,743\u00a0<\/strong>patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of\u00a096.16%,\u00a0<\/strong>which is showing a sustained increasing trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cumulatively, India has conducted over 38.92crore (38,92,07,637<\/strong>) tests so far.<\/p>\n

While on one side testing has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed.\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 3.58%<\/strong>\u00a0while the\u00a0Daily Positivity rate stands at 2.98% today.\u00a0<\/strong>It has remained less than 5% for 12 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s cumulative vaccination coverage exceeds 27.23 crore today. A total of\u00a027,23,88,783\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 37,48,147sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. 33,00,085 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n
