India’s Active Caseload further declines to 7,29,243<\/span><\/h5>\n

\nDaily Recoveries outnumber Daily New Cases for 38th consecutive day<\/p>\n

In a significant development,\u00a0India has reported less than 60,000 daily cases after 81 days.<\/strong>\u00a0The country has reported\u00a058,419<\/strong>\u00a0New Cases in the last 24 hours. India continues to report a sustained slide in the daily new COVID-19 cases.<\/p>\n

Less than 1 lakh Daily New Cases\u00a0<\/strong>have been reported for\u00a013 continuous\u00a0days\u00a0now<\/strong>. This is a result of sustained and\u00a0collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a030,776\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only\u00a02.44%<\/strong>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases\u00a0for 38 consecutive\u00a0days now.\u00a087,619\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Over 29 thousand\u00a0(29,200)\u00a0<\/strong>more\u00a0recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.<\/p>\n

Out of the people infected\u00a0since the beginning\u00a0of the pandemic,\u00a02,87,66,009\u00a0people have already recovered from COVID-19<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a087,619\u00a0<\/strong>patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of\u00a096.27%,\u00a0<\/strong>which is showing a sustained increasing trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cumulatively, India has conducted over 39.10crore (39,10,19,083<\/strong>) tests so far.<\/p>\n

While on one side testing has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed.\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 3.43%<\/strong>\u00a0while the\u00a0Daily Positivity rate stands at 3.22% today.\u00a0<\/strong>It has remained less than 5% for 13 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a027,66,93,572\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 37,91,686sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. 38,10,554 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n
