In a significant achievement, India\u2019s cumulative vaccination coverage has exceeded 32 Crores yesterday. A total of\u00a032,17,60,077\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 42,79,210 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. 64,25,893 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

The new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination commenced from 21 June, 2021. The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID19 vaccination throughout the country.<\/p>\n

India has reported 50,040 new cases in the last 24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Less than 1 lakh Daily New Cases\u00a0<\/strong>have been\u00a0reported for\u00a020 continuous days now<\/strong>. This is a result of sustained and\u00a0collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in its active caseload. The country\u2019s Active Caseload today stands at 5,86,403 today.<\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a09,162\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only\u00a01.94%<\/strong>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases\u00a0for 45 consecutive\u00a0days now.\u00a057,944\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Nearly 8 thousand\u00a0(7,904)\u00a0<\/strong>more recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.<\/p>\n

Out of the people infected\u00a0since the beginning\u00a0of the pandemic,\u00a02,92,51,029\u00a0people have already recovered from COVID-19<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a057,944\u00a0<\/strong>patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of\u00a096.75%,\u00a0<\/strong>which is showing a sustained increasing trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With substantially ramped up testing capacity across the country, a total of\u00a017,77,309\u00a0tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. Cumulatively, India has conducted over 40.42 crore (40,42,65,101<\/strong>) tests so far.<\/p>\n

While on one side testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed.\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 2.91%<\/strong>\u00a0while the\u00a0Daily Positivity rate stands at 2.82% today.\u00a0<\/strong>It has remained less than 5% for 20 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n
