India\u2019s cumulative vaccination coverage crossed the landmark of\u00a035<\/strong>\u00a0crore yesterday. A total of\u00a035,12,21,306\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 46,04,925 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today.\u00a063,87,849\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

The new phase of universalization of COVID19 vaccination commenced from 21st June, 2021. The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID19 vaccination throughout the country.<\/p>\n

India has reported 43,071 new cases in the last 24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases\u00a0<\/strong>have been reported since\u00a0seven<\/strong>\u00a0continuous\u00a0days<\/strong>. This is a result of sustained and\u00a0collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in the active caseload. The country\u2019s Active Caseload today stands at\u00a04,85,350<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a010,183\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only\u00a01.59%<\/strong>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases\u00a0for 52 consecutive\u00a0days now.\u00a052,299\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

More than 9,000\u00a0(9,228)<\/strong>\u00a0recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.<\/p>\n

Out of the people infected\u00a0since the beginning\u00a0of the pandemic,\u00a02,96,58,078\u00a0people have already recovered from COVID-19<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a052,299\u00a0<\/strong>patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of\u00a097.09%,\u00a0<\/strong>which is showing a sustained increasing trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With substantially ramped up testing capacity across the country, a total of\u00a018,38,490\u00a0tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country. Cumulatively, India has conducted over 41.82 crore (41,82,54,953<\/strong>) tests so far.<\/p>\n

While on one side testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed.\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 2.44%<\/strong>\u00a0while the\u00a0Daily Positivity rate stands at 2.34% today.\u00a0<\/strong>Daily Positivity rate has remained less than 5% for 27 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n
