To promote awareness about ‘Health and Sanitation’ issues amongst the people, a lecture was today hosted by the Indian Army in Banihal.<\/div>\n
\u00a0The aim of the lecture was to educate the locals to accomplish the vision of a clean and green India. Emphasis was laid on various aspects that are required to be addressed to have a clean surrounding including the use of toilets, proper garbage disposal.<\/div>\n
Keeping in view threats from Covid -19 the participants were sensitized about the importance of\u00a0 frequent handwashing, wearing facemasks, maintaining social distancing besides regular personal hygiene needs including\u00a0 \u00a0dental care, bathing and wearing clean clothes which leads to good health and prevent diseases besides waste management.<\/div>\n
The locals were also made aware of\u00a0 the symptoms of COVID-19, COVID vaccination program started by the government and various preventive measures.\u00a0 They also advised the people to strictly adhere to Covid SOPs and follow other guidelines as per protocol.<\/div>\n
