\u00a0Mobile Campaign for creating awareness about PMFBY launched in Udhampur<\/strong><\/div>\n
UDHAMPUR, JULY 05:<\/strong> Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Udhampur, in collaboration with Reliance General Insurance Company, organized crop insurance week campaign under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY) in Udhampur Block to aware the farmers about the scheme. The IEC mobile van was flagged off by ADDC Udhampur, Kanta Devi.<\/div>\n
While welcoming the farmers, Chief Agriculture Officer, S C Sharma appealed to the farmers to come forward & take the benefit of the scheme.\u00a0 It was informed that all the Panchayats of Udhampur Block will be covered under the mobile campaign to promote PMFBY and also to clear the doubts of farmers regarding the scheme.<\/div>\n
Awareness camps related to PMFBY celebration were held at Panchayats\u00a0 Roun, Sial Jattan & Mansar. These camps were attended by around 150\u00a0 \u00a0farmers. All necessary protocols related to COVID-19 were properly followed.<\/div>\n
Pallavi Mali from the Technical Support Unit of Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare Credit Division New Delhi interacted with the farmers & satisfactorily answered the queries raised by them.<\/div>\n
Vote of thanks was presented by DAO(Extn) Alok Pandotra.<\/div>\n
