\nIn a unique initiative for the special children, the district administration has got first of its own kind swings installed for them in a local Shaheedi Park in Kidwai Nagar.
\nDedicating the swings to the special kids on Thursday, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Surinder Dawar and Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the district has become first in the state to have specially designed swings for the special kids.\"\"
\nThey said that the swings would bring cheers and entertainment for specially-abled kids like others and would be able to experience extreme fun which is part of everyone\u2019s childhood. They said that most of these children missed the opportunity to have such things for enjoy but now district has a specially-abled friendly swing and special children would have a good time. They added that specially abled persons are the integral part of our society and the administration is committed to serving them always as they enjoy the same rights as others do.
\nOn the occasion, they also interacted with the kids during the event and said that such specially-abled friendly swing would be installed in other parks in the coming days. They lauded the efforts of Advocate Deepti Saluja who is also president of Samarth NGO for raising the voice for specially-abled kids.
