Cultural Wing DIPR hosts Webinar on Covid Appropriate Behaviour at GDC Hiranagar<\/strong><\/div>\n
JAMMU, JULY 08<\/strong>: Cultural Wing Jammu, Department of Information and Public Relations(DIPR) today organised a webinar on covid appropriate behaviour in collaboration with\u00a0 Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Government\u00a0 Degree College\u00a0 Hiranagar.<\/div>\n
Prof\u00a0 Kuldeep Singh Koushal was\u00a0 the Chief Guest and\u00a0 \u00a0Namrita Dogra,\u00a0 Joint Director Information, Jammu, was guest of Honour.\u00a0 \u00a0Parul Khajuria, Cultural Officer, Jammu and Dr Davinder Kour HOD Department of Education were the\u00a0 \u00a0Coordinator of the online event.<\/div>\n
Prof. Bhavana Jamwal, Prof.\u00a0 Sukhdeep Singh and Prof. Shujaut Khan acted as the judges. In all, 10 students participated in the symposium. They were very thankful to the college as well as the cultural wing of DIPR\u00a0 giving them an opportunity to speak on the important issue.<\/div>\n
Abhinandan Sharma got 1st position, Komal Sharma got 2nd and 3rd\u00a0 position was\u00a0 bagged by Aditi Jasrotia. Consolation prizes were also given to Vishali Manash and\u00a0 Aru Jamwal.<\/div>\n
The welcome speech was given by Dr Davinder Kour and the proceedings were conducted by Suresh Sharma, Senior Cultural Assistant.<\/div>\n
A variety musical programme featuring\u00a0 songs &\u00a0 jingles was presented by\u00a0 artists of Cultural wing- Mohinder Panchairvi, Balbir Singh and\u00a0 Banti shah on the topic.<\/div>\n
The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of DIPR, Cultural Wing towards spreading awareness programmes about the covid appropriate behavior amid the pandemic.<\/div>\n
Earlier, the program started with Saraswati Vandana by Vanshika, Sharma, Kiran Kumari and Ranju Jasrotia.<\/div>\n
