JULY 11, 2021\u00a0<\/strong> In order to discuss the modalities for Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccination in Kargil District, Director Animal and Sheep Husbandry (A&amp;SH) Ladakh Dr Muhammad Raza Abbasi convened an emergency meeting of the concerned officers and doctors of Animal and Sheep Husbandry departments here today.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kargil Dr Muhammad Ismail, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kargil Dr Iftikhar Hussain, doctors of Animal and Sheep Husbandry departments besides other concerned officers attended the meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the course of the meeting, various measures related to FMD vaccination in the district were thoroughly discussed and decisions were taken accordingly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">It was decided during the meeting that initially main focus of FMD vaccination shall be laid on Drass Sub Division.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meanwhile, 7 teams were framed to carry out the vaccination process, each team headed by a doctor who shall be responsible to monitor the entire vaccination process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Director A&amp;SH Ladakh stressed the doctors to work with dedication and commitment to ensure that no animal remains unvaccined so as to contain the spread of the FMD
