Government of India (GoI) has announced the Sale (Re-issue<\/strong>) of (i)\u00a0\u20185.63% Government Security, 2026\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0for a notified amount of\u00a0Rs<\/strong>\u00a011,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction\u00a0<\/u>using uniform price method (ii)\u00a0\u2018GoI Floating Rate Bonds, 2033\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0for a notified amount of\u00a0Rs<\/strong>\u00a04,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction,\u00a0<\/u>using uniform price\u00a0 method (iii)\u00a0\u20186.64% Government Security, 2035\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0for a notified amount of\u00a0Rs<\/strong>10,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction<\/u>, using uniform price method, and (iv)\u00a0\u20186.67% Government Security, 2050\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0for a notified amount of\u00a0Rs<\/strong>7,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction\u00a0<\/u>using multiple price method. GoI will have the option to retain additional subscription up to\u00a0`<\/strong>8,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0against the above Security\/Securities. The auctions will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Office, Fort, Mumbai on\u00a0Friday i.e.July 16, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Up to 5% of the notified amount of the sale of the Securities will be allotted to eligible individuals and Institutions as per the Scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities.<\/p>\n

Both competitive and non-competitive bids for the auction should be submitted in electronic format on the Reserve Bank of India Core Banking Solution (E-Kuber) system on\u00a0July 16, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The non-competitive bids should be submitted between 10.30 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. and the competitive bids should be submitted between 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.The result of the auctions will be announced on\u00a0July 16, 2021 (Friday)\u00a0<\/strong>and payment by successful bidders will be on\u00a0July 19, 2021 (Monday)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Securities will be eligible for \u201cWhen Issued\u201d trading in accordance with the guidelines on\u00a0\u2018When Issued transactions in Central Government Securities\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>issued by the Reserve Bank of India vide circular No. RBI\/2018-19\/25 dated July 24, 2018 as amended from time to time.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
