Prem Lata and Prof. DVS\u00a0 Jain Research foundation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Sushil K. Kansal, Department of Chemical Engineering, Panjab University received Smt. Prem Lata Jain award (2019) with a citation and cash prize of Rs 15,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The six best Publication Promotion Awards among scientists from Science, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Medical and Dental Science faculties of Panjab University, for year 2019,\u00a0were conferred to the faculty of Panjab University from various departments which included\u00a0Prof. Sushil K. Kansal, Prof. G. R. Chaudhary (Chemistry, PU), Dr. P. Natarajan (Chemistry), Prof. Sonal Singhal (Chemistry, PU) and Prof. Navneet Kaur. They received a citation and\u00a0prize\u00a0money of Rs. 5,000 each, for their research articles published in high impact journals as Best Publication awards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The certificates of appreciation for publishing research articles of high impact factor were endowed upon\u00a0Dr. Varinder Kaur (Chemistry),\u00a0Dr. Savita Chaudhary (Chemistry), Prof. Indu Pal Kaur (Pharmaceutical Sciences), Dr. Abhijit Dan (Chemistry), Dr. Gurpreet Kaur (Chemistry), Prof. Devinder Dhawan (Biophysics), Dr. Neetu Goel (Chemistry) and Dr. Aman Kaura (PU Regional Centre, Hoshairpur).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. V. R. Sinha, Dean of University Instructions, in his address expressed gratitude and appreciation towards the generous contribution of Prof. D. V. S. Jain and family. The DUI articulated that such endowment funds will really support and accelerate the research activities of the University in multiple ways.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. K. N.
