DRDO has developed state-of-the-art platforms, weapon systems and sensors in the country which in turn have led to improving the combat capabilities and providing technological edge to Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

DRDO has taken projects, for development of Products\/Systems, in various technology domains. Some of them are as follows:<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Airborne Early Warning & Surveillance<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Fighter Aircrafts<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Armoured Fighting Vehicles<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bridging and Mining Systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Guided Munitions<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Electronic Warfare (EW)<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Long Range Radars<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Artificial Intelligence based Systems etc.<\/p>\n

An amount of Rs. 1,11,463.21 crore has been allocated under Capital Acquisition Head(Modernisation) of Defence Services in BE 2021-22. This is an increase of Rs21, 415.41crore (23.78%) over BE 2020-21 allocations.<\/p>\n

The modernization projects are being progressed as per approved capital acquisition plan and in terms of extant Defence Procurement Procedure.<\/p>\n
