He laid the emphasis on the autonomies given to the teachers while doing research and teaching. The education cannot be a mechanical rather it is an organic thing. He emphasised on being more innovative within the given resources. He also highlighted that role of the subject expert in teaching. In universities\/colleges he felt that there was a need for a dynamic leadership who can take some difficult decision for betterment of the society as well as for the students. He gave more stress on culture of excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier,Vice Chancellor Prof. Raj Kumar delivered the inaugural address.
