{"id":92343,"date":"2021-08-11T16:08:42","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T10:38:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsmakhani.com\/?p=92343"},"modified":"2021-08-11T16:08:42","modified_gmt":"2021-08-11T10:38:42","slug":"model-tenancy-act-aims-to-promote-rental-housing-by-balancing-and-protecting-the-interests-of-both-the-tenants-and-landlords","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsnarad.com\/hi\/model-tenancy-act-aims-to-promote-rental-housing-by-balancing-and-protecting-the-interests-of-both-the-tenants-and-landlords\/","title":{"rendered":"Model Tenancy Act aims to promote rental housing by balancing and protecting the interests of both the tenants and landlords"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"qtranxs-available-languages-message qtranxs-available-languages-message-hi\">\u0915\u094d\u0937\u092e\u093e \u0915\u0930\u0947\u0902, \u092f\u0939 \u0938\u092e\u093e\u091a\u093e\u0930 \u0906\u092a\u0915\u0947 \u0905\u0928\u0941\u0930\u094b\u0927 \u0915\u0940 \u092d\u093e\u0937\u093e \u092e\u0947\u0902 \u0909\u092a\u0932\u092c\u094d\u0927 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 \u0939\u0948\u0964 <a href=\"https:\/\/newsmakhani.com\/en\/\">\u0915\u0943\u092a\u092f\u093e \u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901 \u0926\u0947\u0916\u0947\u0902\u0964<\/a><\/p><p><\/p>\n<div class=\"text-center\">\n<h2><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 16px;\">DELHI : 11 AUG 2021<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>With the approval of Union Cabinet, Model Tenancy Act (MTA) has been circulated to all States \/ Union Territories (UTs) on 7<\/strong><sup style=\"color: #444444;\"><strong>t<\/strong>h<\/sup><span style=\"color: #444444; font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0June, 2021 for adoption by way of enacting fresh legislation or amending existing rental laws suitably for future tenancies.\u00a0Model Tenancy Act aims to promote rental housing by balancing and protecting the interests of both the tenants and landlords by regulating renting of premises in an efficient and transparent manner through an adjudicating mechanism for speedy dispute resolution.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>To ensure\u00a0speedy dispute resolution it is provisioned that Rent Court and Rent Tribunal both shall endeavour to dispose the cases within sixty days and in case of delay in disposal, reasons for delay are mandated to be recorded in writing. For disputes related to essential services, it is provided that the Rent Authority, after examining the matter, may pass an interim order directing restoration of supply of essential services immediately.
