With the administration of\u00a056,36,336\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India\u2019s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has surpassed the figure of 56.64 Cr (56,64,88,433)<\/strong>\u00a0yesterday. The feat has been achieved through 63,13,210 sessions.<\/p>\n

The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country.<\/p>\n

The recovery of\u00a039,157\u00a0<\/strong>patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally of recovered patients\u00a0(since the beginning of the pandemic) to\u00a03,15,25,080.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Consequently, India\u2019s recovery rate stands at\u00a097.53%<\/strong>, the highest since March 2020.<\/p>\n

Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs continue the trend of less than 50,000 Daily New Cases that is being reported\u00a0for fifty-three consecutive\u00a0days\u00a0now.<\/p>\n

Just 36,401 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

High recoveries and a low number of new cases have subsided the Active Caseload to\u00a03,64,129\u00a0<\/strong>which is at\u00a0<\/strong>its lowest in 149 days.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Active cases presently form only\u00a01.13%<\/strong>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases which is the lowest since\u00a0March 2020.<\/p>\n

The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded. The last 24 hours saw a total of\u00a018,73,757\u00a0tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over\u00a050.03 Cr\u00a0<\/strong>(50,03,00,840<\/strong>) cumulative tests.<\/p>\n

While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country,\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.95% remains less than 3% for the last 55 days now.\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0Daily Positivity rate also stands at 1.94%.\u00a0<\/strong>The daily Positivity rate has remained below 3% for the last 24 days and below 5% for 73 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n
