The court of Additional Sessions Judge, Gurugram has convicted a man identified as Tanmay Gupta in corruption case and sentenced him to 6 years imprisonment with fine of Rs 25,000.

Sharing the details, a spokesperson of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau said that court has sentenced an imprisonment of 6 years to Tanmay Gupta posted as Computer Operator in Municipal Corporation, Gurugram on contract basis under section 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act and 4-years imprisonment with fine of Rs 25000 under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act in a case FIR No. 3 registered at Gurugram on January 16, 2019.
