Municipal Corporation, Ambala city has started 24 works costing Rs 1985.91 for the drainage of rain water since 2017

Chandigarh, August 20 – Municipal Corporation, Ambala city has started 24 works costing Rs 1985.91 for the drainage of rain water since 2017. Out of this, 19 works costing Rs.1214.7 lakh have been completed and 5 works costing Rs.771.42 lakh are in progress.

This information was given by Urban Local Bodies Minister, Sh. Anil Vij in a written reply to a question tabled in the House during the ongoing session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.

He informed that apart from this, a tender worth Rs 72.48 lakh has been invited to get the construction of Intermediate Pumping Station in front of Chowki No. 4 for drainage of rain water from Balmiki Colony, Ram Nagar, Rampura Mohalla, Bakra Mandi, Koochband Mohalla and Hari Palace Road and pipe laying work from Intermediate Pumping Station to Public Help Storm Water Drain.

Apart from this, Expression of Interest (EOI) for Master Drainage Plan for the area of Municipal Corporation, Ambala city is being prepared and after its preparation, e-tenders will be invited.
