Cabinet Minister Anil Vij heard 19 complaints during the meeting

Directs formation of committees including District Grievance Redressal Committee members to investigate two cases

Haryana Transport, Energy and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, has directed officers to strictly comply with the orders issued during the District Grievance Redressal Committee meetings so that the public can be provided timely relief.

The Minister ordered strict action against officers in several cases. He directed that FIRs be registered in five different cases against the SDO and responsible employees, officers of a finance company, and others, and also ordered the suspension of the SDO concerned.

Besides this, he also directed the formation of committees comprising District Grievance Redressal Committee members and officers to investigate two cases and submit reports. In one case, the Deputy Commissioner was directed to conduct an inquiry and submit a detailed report.

The Minister was presiding over the District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting held at RKSD College auditorium, Kaithal. During the meeting, Sh. Vij heard a total of 19 complaints, including five old and 14 new ones.

Sh. Vij made it clear that negligence and corruption in work will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

One of the complaints raised in the meeting was regarding government travel passes not being accepted in cooperative buses for students of village Dhanori. Responding to this, Sh. Vij assured that a state-level meeting would soon be held to resolve the issue and provide relief to the students.

He also directed the General Manager of Roadways to operate additional buses on the Tohana–Kaithal route as per the demand of girl students.
