Haryana Police solve bank robbery case in few hours, recover booty

Chandigarh, July 29 – In a major break-through, Haryana Police has cracked the Rs 7.78 lakh bank robbery case within a few hours which took place in Sonipat district on the intervening night of July 27 and 28.

Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that police has also recovered a total of Rs 7,78,608 looted by the accused, identified as Rajneesh, a resident of village Juan in Sonipat.

Subhash, Manager of Cooperative Bank, Mohana filed a police complaint that some unidentified miscreants had looted Rs 7,78,608 from the bank.

Immediately after receipt of the information, a case was registered in Mohana police station. Police teams, working on the intelligence and other inputs, had cracked the case within a few hours of the crime being reported and recovered looted cash from the accused.

After registration of a case in this regard, the arrested accused was produced in the court which sent him in judicial custody.
