CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated a bridge constructed at a cost of Rs 49 crore 56 lakh over Narmada river near Aanwli Ghat in Sehore district. He said that with the construction of this bridge, the movement of people would be facilitated and time would also be saved.

In the dedication programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that when I took oath as the Chief Minister, the state was struggling with the Corona crisis. Our first priority was to save people’s lives. We worked day and night to build temporary hospitals, arrange oxygen and medicines and provide all facilities for treatment. He said that Corona has affected the development of the state, but the state is once again moving ahead on the path of development.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that during Corona crisis, moong was procured from the farmers. Free ration was distributed to the poor. Bank linkage of Rs 160 crore has been provided to 800 self-help groups of the state to enable women to stand on their own feet and employment has been provided to the youth. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Ayushman cards are being made for the poor, so that they can get treatment in various identified private hospitals. There will be no shortage of funds in the development of the state.
