The Government procurement agencies have procured 272949 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on tenth day of procurement of this Kharif Season.

Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 1333545 MT and 19703 MT paddy procured by private Millers.
He said that 277986 MT paddy has been arrived in mandis of state today and so far a total of 1436688 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state out of which 1353248 metric tonnes of paddy has been Precoured.
Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 1371.72 Cr. Rupee of farmers.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ 272949 ਮੀਟਿ੍ਰਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਤੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੂਸ਼ਨ ਆਸ਼ੂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਖਰੀਦ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 1333545 ਮੀਟਿ੍ਰਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨਾ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਤੇ 19703 ਮੀਟਿ੍ਰਕ ਟਨ ਮਿਲਰਜ਼ ਵਲੋਂ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਰੀਦ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ 277986 ਮੀਟਿ੍ਰਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਸ਼ੂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ 1436688 ਮੀਟਿ੍ਰਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 1353248 ਮੀਟਿ੍ਰਕ ਟਨ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ 1371.72 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਕਲੀਅਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
