CM Shri Chouhan will address the Ladlis

State level Ladli Laxmi Utsav is being organised in the state on Thursday, October 14. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will address the Ladli Laxmis of the state at 3:00 pm at Minto Hall. Around 40 lakh Ladli Laxmis and daughters will be connected virtually in the programme. Virtual programmes will be organised in every Anganwadi and Panchayat building of the state and girls will join. The programme will be broadcast live on the webcast link Doordarshan, All India Radio, Twitter of Public Relations, live on Facebook and on all social media and YouTube of the Department of Women and Child Development.
In the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will make online transfer of 5 crore 99 lakh scholarships to 21 thousand 550 Ladlis of the state.
It is noteworthy that the Madhya Pradesh government is constantly striving for the bright future and healthy life of the girl child. Ladli Laxmi Yojana was launched in Madhya Pradesh on 1st April 2007 with the objective of creating positive thinking among the public towards girl child birth, improving sex ratio, improving the educational status and health status of girls and laying the foundation for their good future. Since the inception of the scheme, 39.81 lakh girls across the state are getting benefitted by getting registered under Ladli Laxmi Yojana.
Madhya Pradesh government is also moving towards making daughters self-reliant. All daughters of the state will become socially and economically empowered through Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0 Atma-nirbhar Ladli. The state government will provide an amount of 20 thousand to the girl students pursuing graduation and vocational courses after completing 2 years of education. Changes for betterment will also be made in the scheme by taking suggestions from the general public for Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0 Atma-nirbhar Ladli. Ladli Laxmi Utsav will also be organised once in a year in every district of the state.
