Fourth Foundation Day Celebration of Mansarovar Global University
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that human life is the best creation of nature. Nature has provided human beings with the necessary capabilities to serve others. Life turns meaningful when the backward section is also taken along while serving humanity according to our capacity. He said that Foundation Day is an opportunity to make the university management, teachers and students commit for their best contribution towards education that is useful for the society.
Governor Shri Patel was addressing the fourth foundation day celebrations of Mansarovar Global University today. In the programme, the Governor honored the Principal of Mansarovar Dental College, Shri Gurudutt Nayak and the Principal of Mansarovar Ayurvedic Medical College, Shri Anurag Singh Acharya.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that university education should develop social responsibility, sense of duty and moral values among the students. By motivating the students for participation in social concerns, they should be inspired to follow life values, high standards of truthfulness and responsibilities. He said that a large part of the state’s population was suffering from sickle cell disease. This is one of the major social concerns. This congenital, life-threatening disease is being found in large numbers among the Scheduled Tribes. The state government has made concerted efforts for the treatment and management of the disease. To make them more effective, everyone’s cooperation and effort is necessary. For this the work of disease survey should be done at a fast pace, for this, universities should also come forward and cooperate.
Governor Shri Patel said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made efforts to establish coordination in India’s tradition, heritage, cultural values, knowledge and skill development in the new National Education Policy and education system. For the success of the policy, the environment of the university campus should be student oriented, enhancing the originality of the students, motivating and encouraging innovations. Students should be able to contribute in making the country self-reliant with their abilities, qualification by acquiring quality education. They should be helpful in taking the benefits of Digital India, Start-up India to rural, backward areas, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and deprived sections.
Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang said that education is a project to make the society orderly and well organized. He said that for systematic education, it is necessary for the educational institution to be well organized and well-resolved. He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has given impetus to the development of the country. Along with this, the work of changing the dark chapters of history has also been done. He has strengthened the country’s base and its roots through the National Education Policy, so that every student is imbued with the feeling of patriotism. They should be dedicated towards building the nation and the society. He said that today is a special day in the sequence of development of the state. Asia’s largest Bio-CNG plant at Indore is a gift of Waste-to-Wealth by the Prime Minister to the state. The Governor congratulated the University Management for the effective presentation of national sentiments in the Foundation Day celebrations.
Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the leading state in the country to adopt and implement the new education policy. He said that Lord Macaulay had destroyed and corrupted Indian education. Prime Minister Shri Modi has done an unprecedented job of re-establishing it. Congratulating the university, he said that the institute is being established as ‘Sudarshan’ amidst the ‘Akarshan’ attractions and ‘Vikarshan’ distractions of education in the private sector.
In the beginning, the Vice Chancellor, Engineer Shri Gaurav Tiwari informed that efforts are being made by the University for the holistic development of the students by combining academic knowledge and practical knowledge. The concept of availability of education at subsidized rates to the poor and deprived sections is the foundation of the establishment of the university. Vice-Chancellor Shri H.R. Ruhail proposed the vote of thanks. Vice Chancellor Shri Arun Kumar Pandey administered the oath to the new dentists.
