Tourism, Culture and Spirituality Minister Sushri Usha Thakur said that Heritage for Run has been organized with the efforts of Matra Shakti. This has started the writing of the story of tourism development in the history of Bundelkhand and Khajuraho. Bundelkhand is the land of heroes. How can its daughters stay away from heroes and valour ?

Minister Sushri Usha Thakur was addressing ‘Go-Heritage Run for Women’ in Khajuraho on Sunday morning. Sushri Thakur flagged off the Heritage Run from the Regional Center of MP Tourism. More than 300 women took part in this 5 km heritage run. The Heritage Run began with the women slogan ‘Paryatan ko badhana hai’.

Minister Sushri Thakur said that unique efforts are being made at the state level to develop and attract tourism in Khajuraho. While acknowledging the women power of Bundelkhand, he expected the continuous dedicated support and cooperation of the society and women power in building an Atmanirbhar Bharat. The Heritage Run was organized by the Tourism Department in collaboration with Aadhar Sanstha with the purpose of women empowerment.
