Chandigarh, March 24 – Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Anurag Agarwal informed that the Election Commission of India is organizing competitions on the topic ‘My Vote Is My Future – Power of One Vote’, in which the last date has been extended till March 31, 2022, earlier it was fixed on March 15, 2022.

He said that through various competitions, quiz, slogan writing, song, video recording and poster design being organised to highlight the talent and creativity of common people and to ensure their participation in democracy. Keeping in view the enthusiasm of the participants and their registration, the Election Commission of India has extended the date of participation in these competitions till March 31, 2022. These competitions are divided into three categories: Professional, Institutional and Amateur. He also informed that the winners at the National Level would be awarded with cash prizes. On the lines of the Election Commission of India, cash prizes will also be given to the top ranking participants in all these competitions at the State level as well.

The Chief Electoral Officer also informed that to participate in the competitions at the National and State Level and for more information, visit the website of the Commission http://ecisveep.nic.in, in which detailed guidelines, rules and conditions related to the competition are clearly mentioned. He added that the participants can participate in these competitions till March 31, 2022 and the details of their entries can be sent to the email id-contest@eci.gov.in.
