Winter stock of AYUSH medicines given to ISM (Dispensary Ishtiyari Padder)

The ISM department has given the winter stock of AYUSH medicines to ISM Dispensary Ishtiyari Padder. Nodal Officer ISM District Kishtwar, Dr Tariq Hussain visited the remote area on the direction of the Director ISM J&K and Deputy Commissioner Rajinder Singh Tara to give the supplies. He met with prominent citizens and PRIs of the area and heard their issues and problems related to health facility as the far flung area remains cut off during the winters due to lack of road connectivity.

He took stock of medicine at ISM Dispensary Ishtiyari and supplied all stocks of AYUSH medicines to meet the stocks till May 2021.

On the occasion, he also gave away AYUSH medicine among the general public on the spot and also checked and verified the available stocks at the dispensary. He also informed residents of the area about the benefits of Ayush medicines, Hygiene, and also briefed them about the Novel Coronavirus and the precautions and SOPs to reduce its spread.
