In the wake of upcoming ‘Ram Lala Praan Pratishtha’ in Ayodhya Dham, Shri Ram’s maternal home Chhattisgarh has also started preparing for the festivities. In the same sequence, ‘Tulsi Manas Pratishthan Samaroh’ was organized today in Gunderdehi, Balod district, wherein Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh participated. Chief Minister and Assembly Speaker also distributed ‘Ramcharitmanas’ to the devotees present on the occasion. Today, 3000 ‘Manas’ books were distributed in the program, on behalf of Tulsi Manas Pratishthan. Earlier, this organization has distributed 48 thousand books.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it was the vision of Kanker MP Shri Mohan Mandavi to distribute 51 thousand copies of Ramcharitmanas and preach the ideals of Shri Ram to maximum number of people. It was a moment of pride for the state as the team of Golden Book of World Records registered this new record of distributing 51 thousand copies of Ramcharitmanas today. In Gunderdehi, Ramcharitmanas was tied in red cloth and handed over to the devotees in a respectful and dignified manner. The devotees also received it with utmost honour and kept in on their head. As many as 3000 people received the copies of Manas today and raised the slogans in praise of Shri Ram.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai commenced his speech by hailing Shri Ram. Shri Sai said that he considers Kanker MP Shri Mohan Mandavi as ‘Ramayani MP’. He called Shri Mandavi a hero for doing the noble work of distributing Manas. In his address, Shri Sai said that it was his first visit to Balod as a Chief Minister, and he was touched by the warmth and affection of people here. At the program held today, bhoomipujan and inauguration of development works worth more than Rs 173 crore was done. Shri Mandavi has been doing the work of distributing Manas since year 2002. Today, with the giveaway of 3000 copies, he has completed the task of distributing 51 thousand Manas to people. And this glorious work has been registered as the new record in the Golden Book of World Records.
Chief Minister said that Shri Mandavi has glorified the name of Chhattisgarh by giving the soulful gift of Ramcharitmanas to 51 thousand families. Teachings of Ramcharitmanas will give a better direction to the society. Shri Sai congratulated Shri Mandavi for this noble work that has made it to the Golden Book of World Records. This achievement has further added to the zeal and fervour for the upcoming ‘Praan Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram in Ayodhya Dham on January 22nd. The work of cleaning all the temples across the state has also been started from the day of Makar Sankranti and it would continue till 22nd January.Chief Minister said that being the ‘nanihaal’ of Shri Ram, Chhattisgarh has sent aromatic rice to Ayodhya for the festive feast. A team of doctors from Chhattisgarh have gone to Ayodhya to serve the devotees. Our government is determined to fulfill each of the guarantees of Prime Minister Modi. Shri Sai said that his government has sanctioned more than eighteen lakh houses soon after the formation of the government. Farmers have been provided the bonus of two years. CBI will investigate the complaints received in the case of PSC 2021. We are procuring 21 quintals of paddy per acre at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. We are also working to honor all the Manas Mandalis of the state, said Chief Minister.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said in his address to the program that Shri Ram Lala Praan Pratishtha would be a moment of pride for all of us. He praised Tulsi Manas Pratishthan and MP Shri Mohan Mandavi for their noble work of distributing copies of ‘Ramcharitmanas’. He also praised the manas manadlis for promoting the ideals of Shri Ram among masses. Kanker MP Shri Mohan Mandavi said on this occasion that the work of Manas distribution was commenced from year 2002 with the intention of educating people about the teachings of Shri Ram, today the task has been completed.
