Chief Minister’s OSD Dr. Raj Nehru chairs meeting with women entrepreneurs

Under the visionary leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, and in alignment with the ‘Vikasit Haryana–Saksham Mahila’ initiative, a virtual meeting was held today with women entrepreneurs from both rural and urban areas of the state. The meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister’s OSD, Dr. Raj Nehru.
The primary objective of the meeting was to empower women entrepreneurs, connect them with emerging opportunities, and enhance their participation in Haryana’s economic development. During the meeting, participants shared their experiences related to startups, incubation centers, digital marketing, financial assistance, and innovation.
Dr. Raj Nehru stated that, in line with the Chief Minister’s vision, a target has been set to significantly enhance the role of women in Haryana’s economic growth. As part of this initiative, a dedicated workshop will be organized soon to provide women entrepreneurs with a platform to learn key aspects of entrepreneurship. The workshop will also involve industry representatives and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a holistic and practical learning experience.
He emphasized that the state government is fully committed to supporting women entrepreneurs at every level by providing assistance, training, and necessary resources. The meeting also included discussions on expanding women-centric incubation centers and digital platforms to empower women from rural areas and help them become self-reliant by accessing global markets. He further stated that under Mission Haryana-2047, women entrepreneurs across various sectors will play a crucial role in achieving the state’s goal of reaching a USD 1 trillion GDP and creating new employment opportunities.
