Haryana Government streamlines approvals with single-window ‘Ease of Doing Business’ System

Chandigarh, 6 October 2025

A high level delegation from Haryana, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, held meetings with representatives of major Japanese companies on the very first day, inviting them to invest in Haryana. Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh also accompanied the delegation. A significant meeting was held today in Tokyo with TDK Corporation, a leading Japanese electronics company, to discuss collaboration in electronic components, sensors, and magnetic materials.

It is noteworthy that ATL Battery, a subsidiary of TDK Corporation, is establishing India’s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant in EMC Sohna, Haryana. This project is set to position Haryana as a frontrunner in energy storage technology, driving employment, innovation, and technological growth in the state. During the meeting, other TDK partners were also encouraged to invest in building a robust electronics manufacturing ecosystem in Haryana.

Chief Minister Nayab  Singh Saini highlighted Haryana’s investor-friendly policies, world-class infrastructure, and dedicated support systems. He emphasized the government’s “Ease of Doing Business” initiative, which offers all necessary clearances and approvals through a single-window system to accelerate industrial development.

Pointing to Gurugram’s status as the base for over 250 Fortune 500 companies, the Chief Minister underscored Haryana’s strategic advantage as the most cost-effective and efficient business destination in the Delhi NCR region. With Delhi bordering Haryana on three sides, the state is well-equipped with infrastructure and facilities to support industry growth. The Chief Minister assured full government support to ensure the success of enterprises.

Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary Industries and Commerce Department Dr. Amit Agrawal, Commissioner and Secretary Foreign Cooperation Department Amneet P. Kumar, Managing Director Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation and Director General of Industries and Commerce Yash Garg, along with other senior officials were also present on this occasion.
