Sat Sharma releases simplified teachings of Guru Ravidass compiled by Balbir

Jammu Kashmir BJP President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma CA, released a  compiled work based on the teachings of Guru Ravidass, titled “Keh Ravidass”. The compilation has been authored by BJP Spokesperson and British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation National General Secretary, Balbir Ram Rattan, who has presented the saint’s teachings in simple and easy-to-understand Hindi lines.

The composition aims to make the profound spiritual wisdom and social philosophy of Guru Ravidass Ji accessible to the masses, particularly the younger generation, by presenting his message in a clear and simplified manner.

Sat Sharma CA, on this occasion, spoke on the relevance of Guru Ravidass Ji’s teachings, stating that his message of equality, social justice, and devotion continues to inspire generations. He emphasized that Guru Ravidass Ji stood firmly against social discrimination and worked towards building a society based on harmony and mutual respect. He added that such literary contributions play an important role in preserving and promoting the teachings of great saints.

Praising the efforts of the author, Sat Sharma CA said that simplifying the deep and philosophical teachings of Guru Ravidass Ji into concise and relatable lines is a significant achievement. He noted that “Keh Ravidass” will help readers easily understand and imbibe the values propagated by the revered saint.

Balbir Ram Rattan said that the objective behind the compilation was to present the teachings of Guru Ravidass Ji in a form that can be easily understood and followed by common people. He expressed hope that it will serve as a source of inspiration and guide individuals towards leading a life rooted in equality, compassion, and spiritual awareness.

The composition was released in presence of BJP Vice Presidents Bharat Bhushan (former DDC Chairman), and Rakesh Mahajan, General Secretary and former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Nanaji Deshmukh Library Incharge Prof. (Dr.) Kulbhushan Mohtra, among others.
