Chandigarh, March 5- Haryana Governor, Satyadeo Narain Arya said that the State  Government is committed to providing comprehensive veterinary Health Care and animal breeding services for the livestock wealth of the State. Reiterating the same commitment, an amount of Rs. 42.64 crore would be spent on the construction of two Haryana Pashu Vigyan Kendras (HPVK) at Makho Sarani in district Sirsa and  in Behal, district Bhiwani.  These two Regional Centres of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar will provide quality and referral animal health and production management services to the livestock owners of the State.

            Satyadeo Narain Arya was delivering his address on the first day of Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha which commenced here today.

            He said that during the COVID-19 pandemic the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department has made the State free of any foot and mouth and HS disease among cattle and buffaloes in the State by using a combined vaccine with complete vaccination.

Satyadeo Narain Arya said that the State Government has decided to open Veterinary Polyclinics in all Districts of the State so as to provide extensive veterinary services.   During the COVID -19 pandemic, an amount of Rs. 8.54 crore was provided to 444 Gaushala as Grant-in-Aid for fodder by the Haryana Gau Sava Aayog.
