Chandigarh, August 7: -Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar Prof. Samar Singh said that two programs ‘ Pahal 2020’ and ‘Safal -2020’ have been launched to transform agriculture into successful business for farmers. After selection of participants in two months training, a grant of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh will be sent to the Farmers’ Welfare Department.
He said that the last date of application is August 14, 2020. The details regarding the same are available on the University website www.hau.ac.in. Giving details of various welfare programs related to farmers in the university, he said that Agri Business Incubation Centre has been set up by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in the University. In this pattern, a two-day Orientation Program for selected incubatees was held on August 6 and 7, 2020, he added.
