CM Shri Chouhan paid tribute to former President Dr. Kalam

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today remembered former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam by paying homage to him on his death anniversary. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also garlanded the portrait of Dr. Kalam. Dr. Kalam is known as Missile Man. He was born on 15th October 1931 in Dhanushkodi Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. He was the 11^{th elected President of the Republic of India.}

Dr. Kalam gave his services as a scientist and administrator of science for the Defense Research and Development Organisation  and the Indian Space Research Organisation for four decades. He was instrumental in India’s space programme and military missile development. He played a decisive, organisational and technical role in nuclear testing. Dr. Kalam passed away on July 27th, 2015.
