GDC Nubra organise rally to raise awareness on cleanliness

Leh, Aug 17 2021 Government Degree College, Nubra, today organised a rally from Taxi Stand Diskit to SDM Quarter Chowk as a part of the Sustained Cleanliness Drive under the theme, ‘Swachh Ladakh Swasth Ladakh’. The students of GDC Nubra also performed a skit on the theme Swachh Ladakh in the Diskit main market area to raise awareness on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
The rally started with a song on Swachhata at the Diskit Taxi Stand. Students of the first, third and fifth semesters performed the skit at a few prominent places in the main market area. Sarpanch, panch and members of Taxi Union provided refreshment to the students.
The programme concluded with an oath-taking ceremony for a healthy lifestyle.
