BJP All Cells led by Ved Sharma organized a program at Satwari to celebrate the birthday of PM Narendra Modi and to spread awareness about GST relaxation beginning September 22, 2025, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship social welfare initiatives. Ration distribution was also done to the needy persons on the occasion.
The program began with congratulate to PM Narendra Modi followed by discussions on government reforms aimed at benefiting common citizens and the business community.
J&K BJP President Sat Sharma, while addressing the gathering, spoke on the benefits of the present GST reforms for the profit of the common people. He praised the efforts of various party cells for their proactive role in strengthening the organizational network and serving society during Seva Pakhwada. He emphasized that such initiatives reflect the party’s commitment to Prime Minister Modi’s vision of inclusive growth and nation-building.
General Secretary Sanjita Dogra highlighted the significance of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao program launched by the Prime Minister. She urged party workers to take this campaign to every household, ensuring that education and empowerment of girls remain a top priority in social development.
Ved Sharma appreciated the government’s recent decision on GST relaxation, calling it a “progressive step to ease business and promote economic growth.” He said the move reflects the government’s commitment to reducing financial burdens on the business community and creating a more supportive environment for trade.
Sharma emphasized that the relaxation will particularly benefit small traders, shopkeepers, and budding entrepreneurs who form the backbone of the local economy. He added that by simplifying tax compliance and providing relief to businesses, the reform will encourage investment, generate employment, and boost confidence among those engaged in trade and industry.
Ex-Corporator Pawan Singh expressed gratitude to the people for their consistent support and participation in developmental activities.

Satwari Bazar Association President Rajesh Gupta also joined the celebration.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to further the Prime Minister’s vision of Seva, Samarpan, and Atmanirbharta, with participants wishing PM Modi good health and long life. The program showcased the BJP’s grassroots connect and its dedication to combining celebration with social awareness campaigns.
