Under the Governments initiative of reaching out to Youth and Women entrepreneurs, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin distributed sanction letters to the beneficiaries of Shopian. These sanction letters were distributed under Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme through J&K bank for Cutting and Tailoring, Shuttering, Bakery manufacturing, Car washing, Mobile repairing, Aluminium manufacturing, Shamiyana (Tent house), Kiryana shop, Embroidery and Crewel weaving etc.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC appreciated J&K Bank for its services across the district by playing a important role in giving employment avenues to the youth of Shopian and hoped that UTs premier bank would continue to bring changes in the peoples lives. He mentioned that sanctioning of cases under B2V3 self employment programme, economic package and My Town My Pride highlighted the UT governments commitment to support the youth and added that district Administration is committed to cover every single aspirant who wishes to start his own business.
Among others, Joint Director Planning, Lead District Manager J&K Bank and other officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
