Standing Committee of Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises accords approval

Chandigarh, November 16 – Haryana Government has decided to promote Class IV employees serving in District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) in the state.

The agenda of promotion was approved in a meeting of the standing committee of Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises held under the chairmanship of Sh. Subhash Barala here today. With this approval, the long pending demand of various employee organizations including Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh will be fulfilled.

Giving information about the agenda put in the meeting, the Chairman of Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises, Sh. Subhash Barala said that out of 30 percent posts of clerks promoted in District Central Cooperative Banks, 10 percent posts will be given to the fourth-class employees of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies. He said that it has been approved today to fill up the staff through promotion. He informed that keeping in view the prescribed terms and conditions, out of these 30 percent posts, 20 percent posts of District Central Cooperative Banks and 10 percent posts will be filled by the promotion of Class IV employees of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies. Notably, provision has already been made to fill the remaining 70 percent posts through direct recruitment.

Sh. Barala further informed that in today’s meeting approval has also been accorded to promote the post of Manager (Cactus Garden) in Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran to the post of XEN (Horticulture) considering it in the feeder cadre.

Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises, Chairman, Sh. Subhash Barala said that the employees of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and other organizations have been demanding to promote Class IV employees of District Central Cooperative Banks and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies to the post of clerks for the last several years. But the previous governments did not address their long pending demand. He said that keeping in view the welfare of public under the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ as envisioned by the present Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the Haryana Public Enterprises Bureau redressed the long pending demands of the public. He said that this decision of the Bureau would prove to be beneficial for thousands of Class IV employees of District Central Cooperative Banks and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies of the state.

Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Department, Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Director General, Town and Country Planning Department, Sh. T.L. Satyaprakash, Chief Administrator, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, Managing Director, Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation, Sh. A.Sreenivas, and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
