Chandigarh, October 7:  Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sh. Sandeep Singh has congratulated Haryana’s daughter Anshu Malik for becoming the country’s first female wrestler to reach the finals of the World Wrestling Championship being held in Oslo, Norway.

        Congratulating Anshu Malik, Sh. Sandeep Singh said that she has created history by reaching the finals of the World Wrestling Championship and brought laurels to the state.

        He said that the 19-year-old had dominated the semi-finals from the very beginning and reached the finals of the 57kg category by winning based on technical superiority.

        The Minister of State for Sports has congratulated Anshu Malik as well as his coach.
