Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao described the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana as a historic step in the direction of women’s empowerment. She said that the decision taken in the Cabinet meeting held on Thursday under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will write a new chapter of economic self-reliance in the lives of the daughters and sisters of Haryana.

She said that this scheme strengthens the vision of ‘Empowered Women – Prosperous Society – Developed Haryana.’ With this initiative, women will not only contribute to the family’s income but will also play their role in society with confidence.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, the Health Minister said that the foundation of family and society becomes strong only when women are empowered. The Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana is the result of this vision and reflects the Haryana Government’s seriousness towards women’s welfare.

She informed that women in the age group of 23 and above will be eligible for this scheme. The scheme will be launched on September 25, 2025, on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, and under it, every eligible woman will receive Rs 2100 per month directly into her bank account.

Arti Singh Rao said that the Haryana Government has always prioritized women’s health, education, safety, and economic empowerment. The government will continue to make consistent efforts for the welfare and prosperity of women in the state.
