Dushyant Chautala sought report of recently done multiple partner registries of land from Deputy Commissioners

Chandigarh, December 16: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala has sought a report of recently done multiple partner registries of land having more than one acre and less than two acres of area and directed all the Deputy Commissioners to submit it to the headquarters within a week.

He also directed the concerned officers to redress all the issues being faced in the registries of land being done in the state by December 31, 2020 so that the registries can be smoothly done from January 1, 2021. He said that the new process of registry is increasing revenue and the people of the state are also satisfied with this transparent system.

Dushyant Chautala was presiding over a review meeting regarding Registration Process Upgrades with the officers of the Revenue Department through video conferencing here today.

The Deputy Chief Minister also took district-wise stock of the difficulties being faced in the registries of other departments including Urban Local Bodies, Town and Country Planning Department, Housing Board from Deputy Commissioners and directed the concerned officers to redress them. He directed the officers to create the Property-IDs of all the properties falling under the Urban Local Bodies by February 28, 2021.

He directed the officers to also redress issues related to the lands, registries of which are not being done due to some part of the land falling under the rural area and some under the Urban Local Bodies Department. He also directed the officers to allow the NRIs to use their passports as identity cards (IDs) to sell their assets.

Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management and Consolidation Department, Sanjeev Kaushal, Director, Urban Local Bodies Department, Ashok Kumar Meena, Director, Consolidation of Land Holdings & Land Records Department, Amna Tasneem and other senior officers were also present on the occasion. The Deputy Commissioners of all the districts also joined the meeting through video conferencing.
