Seminars for entrepreneurs will be held in the month of February

Chandigarh, January 24 – Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala has directed the officials to ensure registration of youth on the portal https://local.hrylabour.gov.in at the earliest so that they get employment under the ‘Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020’.  He also said that they should set targets for providing employment to the youth every year so that work can be done expeditiously. He also asked to organise seminars in various districts in the month of February, in which entrepreneurs will be made familiar with the ‘Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020’ so that they are not apprehensive about it.

The Deputy Chief Minister was presiding over a review meeting organised today regarding the registration and other activities being done by youth and entrepreneurs under the ‘Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020’.  Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Babli and Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge) Sh, Anoop Dhanak were also present on the occasion.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed the officers to organise seminars in various districts in February 2022 to explain to the entrepreneurs about the ‘Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020’ and to address their apprehensions.  He also directed the youth to be encouraged to register on the said portal. He also said that the officials should fix the target for one year, three years, five years and 10 years etc. regarding the number of youth that will get employment in private institutions in the respective stipulated time frame. He called for developing the skills of the youth according to the modern technology of the companies so that the local youth can get good salary package. It came to light during the meeting that so far, more than 21,500 youth have been registered on https://local.hrylabour.gov.in.

Additional Chief Secretary, Employment Department, Sh. V.S. Kundu, Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Department Dr. Raja Sekhar Vundru, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Sh. Vijayendra Kumar, Labour Commissioner, Sh. T.L. Satyaprakash, Director General of MSME, Smt. Amneet.  P. Kumar, Director General of Industries and Commerce Department, Sh. Saket Kumar, Director of Employment Department, Sh. Anshaj Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Sh.  Paramjit Singh Dhul and other senior officers were present.
