Haryana’s Transport Minister Sh. Anil Vij said regarding the transport arrangements for the Common Entrance Test (CET) that it was the commitment of our government that every candidate must reach the examination center, and this responsibility was fulfilled diligently by the Transport Department.

While Speaking to media persons today, Transport Minister Anil Vij said that today was a particularly difficult day. Around 11 lakh candidates had to appear for the exam, and about 13 lakh people were traveling by buses, also due to the Teej festival and the Saturday-Sunday weekend, there was additional rush in the buses. However, the entire staff of the Transport Department, including drivers, conductors, GMs, and bus stand in-charges, had been actively managing arrangements since last night.

He said that we also allowed general passengers to travel in the buses arranged for the candidates, and there were no issues reported anywhere. Positive reports have come in from all districts and our staff is working with complete dedication, and they will continue to work efficiently until the examination process is over, he added.

Sh. Vij said that the entire administration is also engaged in organizing the exam. Hospitals have been prepped with necessary arrangements wherever required. The entire government is committed to ensuring the exam is conducted successfully. He said all efforts have been made to ensure that the candidates can appear in the exam without any problems. My staff is treating this work as their own responsibility and working with full commitment and sincerity, Sh. Vij asserted.
