Strengthening the organizational unit of the party, the Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated Fakir Chand as the party’s Vice President and Chaudhary Bakalar Singh as the Vice President of Kisan Morcha. Party Working President Sat Sharma formally handed over the appointment letters to Fakir Chand and Chaudhary Balkar Singh. Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy, Ashish Sood and former Speaker Kavinder Gupta were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Sat Sharma expressed hope that the new office bearers will further intensify their efforts to strengthen the party and solve the problems of the farmers. Sat Sharma said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is the true representative of the interests of the farmers and it is constantly working for the welfare of small and big farmers.
He said that the BJP’s Sankalp Patra gives special importance to the farmers, where apart from various welfare schemes, the amount of Rs 6,000 given under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been promised to be increased to Rs 10,000. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken many revolutionary steps to increase the income of farmers in the last ten years and after assuming the reins of the government for the third time, these steps have been accelerated further. He said that after the formation of a double engine government in Jammu and Kashmir, the lives of farmers will become even more prosperous, as the Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to fulfilling every promise of its Sankalp Patra.
He expressed hope that Fakir Chand Bhagat will work with even more enthusiasm for the Bharatiya Janata Party and will take the policies and programs of the BJP to every household. He expressed hope from Chaudhary Balkar Singh that he will make the farmer community aware of the welfare measures taken by Prime Minister Modi for the farmers and the promises made in the BJP’s Sankalp Patra.
