Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij today made a bold statement, and asserting that “The Congress conspired to destroy the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) through the Malegaon case and labeled it as saffron terrorism.” He said that “During the Malegaon incident, both the central and Maharashtra governments were led by Congress, and they orchestrated a deeply rooted conspiracy against the RSS. I want this entire matter to be thoroughly investigated, and those who masterminded this plot must face action.”
Sh. Vij was responding to a question asked by the media persons regarding the Malegaon case. Earlier, he had tweeted on X: “”maalegaanv ke pramukh kesh mein raashtreey svayan sevak sangh ke sarasangh chaalak poojaneey mohan bhaagavat jee ko agar koee bhee bolata hai to desh mein aag lag jaatee hai. aadarsh mohan bhaagavat jee vishv kee sabase badee ke sanstha hain. jo desh ko param vaibhav par aashram aur logon mein charitr nirmaan aur raashtr kee bhaavana ka prachaar karate hain, usake lie lagaataar prayaas kar rahe hain.”.”
He said that “There is no such thing as saffron terrorism in India. In India, saffron is a blessing, and it is this blessing that continues to flow like a stream of wisdom throughout the nation. The saffron-clad saints and scholars have preserved our nation’s culture, beliefs and identity.”
Sh. Vij said that “The STF (Special Task Force) has revealed that their officers were instructed to arrest even RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat ji, and STF officials were reportedly provided with weapons and manpower for this operation. I repeat, if anyone had even touched Mohan Bhagwat ji in this fabricated case, the entire country would have erupted.”
He further said that “The RSS is the largest organization in the world. It is continuously working to elevate India to its highest glory. It has 48 affiliated wings, conducts daily shakhas (training sessions), and tirelessly promotes character building and patriotism among the masses.”
Sh. Vij said that “Having served as the Home Minister of Haryana, I firmly believe that such a significant action could not have taken place without the explicit approval of the then Prime Minister and Chief Minister. This is a dangerous and alarming matter, especially considering that both Maharashtra and the central government were under Congress rule at the time.”
