Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Kill-Corona Campaign-2 is being conducted from village to village and house to house in all rural areas of the state for special fever screening. The survey teams are reaching out and identifying potential patients on priority especially in areas where the rate of infection is high. 15 thousand 308 survey teams have been formed for the Kill-Corona Campaign-2 started from April 24 last. The survey of more than 2 crore 29 lakh 51 thousand 135 people has been  completed by the survey teams so far. During the survey, samples of more than 84 thousand 148 potential patients have been taken. The campaign will run until 9 May.

94.62 percent Gram Panchayat pledged to enforce Corona-curfew

Out of 22 thousand 811 gram panchayats in the state, 21 thousand 584 gram panchayats have pledged to impose Janta corona curfew, which is about 94.62 percent of the total panchayats. All government and private offices except essential services are operating with a 10 percent presence. The gathering of people is prohibited for organising social, political, cultural, sports, educational, public events and entertainment activities.

More than 80 lakhs vaccinated

Vaccination work is also going on in the state. So far, health workers, front line workers, senior citizens and more than 80 lakh 69 thousand people above 45 years of age have been vaccinated. More than 3 crore 22 lakh citizens of the state will get vaccinated. The government will spend about Rs 2710 crore on this work. The work orders of 45 lakh doses of the Covishield vaccine have been issued.

Ambulance vehicle presented by volunteers in Jobat

The number of Corona Volunteers across the state has now exceeded 1 lakh 8 thousand 375. All the volunteers are working shoulder to shoulder with the government and are making significant contribution in public awareness works under Covid control. 1616 volunteers have been registered in Alirajpur district. Volunteers have presented an all-purpose ambulance vehicle to the city people in the district’s development block Jobat. Recently, 7 cylinders of oxygen could be transported by ambulance to Jobat.

Jeevan Amrit Yojana

Under the Jeevan Amrit Yojana, 2 lakh 92 thousand 448 people have been benefited by distributing 1 lakh 16 thousand 979 packets of decoction to families since April 8, 2021.

Yoga se Nirog programme

During the Corona crisis, the state government has done an innovation and started Yoga se Nirog programme. So far 2,918 yoga instructors have been registered in the state. Of these, 2 thousand 531 yoga instructors were mapped with 25 thousand 233 home isolated patients. At present, 2,390 yoga instructors are currently helping 15 thousand 146 home isolated patients do yoga exercises online.

Important decisions

In this hour of crisis, the state government has issued an order to extend the due date of payment of short-term crop loan disbursed in the Kharif 2020 season from April 30 to May 31. Given the problems being faced by the general public due to the Covid epidemic, the state government has issued an order to increase the effective market price guideline for the year 2021 to 30 June 2021 for registration of documents.
