The Placement Cell of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh organised a session on ‘Career Planning and Progression’. Mr. Raj Malhotra, Founder and Director, RAJ Malhotra IAS Academy, Chandigarh and Mr. Anuj Sharma, Faculty, RAJ Malhotra IAS Academy were the speakers for the event. Mr. Raj Malhotra shed light on numerous competitive exams such as CAT, RBI, UGC NET and UPSC CSE. Stressing on the importance of right kind of preparation for success in competitive exams, he urged the students to start the preparation right away. Focusing on UPSC, Mr. Anuj Sharma discussed the importance of read newspapers daily and thoroughly, choosing optional subject and staying motivated.

The session culminated with an interactive session wherein the speakers addressed the queries of the students. The keenness and eagerness of students to learn about these exams resulted in the participation of over 139 students.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava lauded this endeavour of the Placement Cell to guide students on the crucial aspect of career planning. She added that such interactions with the industry experts enriches the students by widening their horizons and makes them better equipped to face competition.
