BJP holds Atal Samriti Sammelan in Bahu Constituency, pays tributes to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji

J&K BJP President and MP (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma, along with party General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Party Secretary Reema Padha, District Prabhari Parduman Singh, and District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia, addressed an Atal Samriti Sammelan of Bahu Assembly Constituency at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The senior party leaders also paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, remembering his visionary leadership and enduring legacy.
Addressing the party leaders, Sat Sharma highlighted the life, values, and monumental contributions of Atal ji to the nation. He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not merely a statesman, but a guiding light for Indian democracy, whose politics were rooted in consensus, inclusivity, and national interest. Referring to Sushasan Diwas, observed on Atal ji’s birth anniversary, he emphasized that good governance, transparency, and people-centric administration were the cornerstones of Vajpayee ji’s leadership. He added that Atal ji was respected even by his political opponents, reflecting his stature as a symbol of dignified and inclusive politics in India.
Sanjita Dogra, while addressing the Sammelan, gave a detailed account of Atal ji’s life journey and historic contributions. She underlined his role in strengthening democratic institutions, uplifting the rural and underprivileged sections of society, and accelerating infrastructure development, particularly road connectivity across the country. She also highlighted his bold and visionary foreign policy, which helped project India as a confident and responsible global power.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa described Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji as a leader of rare integrity, whose decisions were always guided by national unity and long-term vision. He said that Atal ji’s ideals continue to inspire BJP workers to serve society with dedication and commitment.
On the occasion, Parduman Singh, Divya Jain, and Nitish Mahajan recited heartfelt poems reflecting the life, thoughts, and timeless ideals of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji in the Sammelan.
