Now farmers too can fill the details of their crop loss
Civic polls to be held soon, the Election Commission is completing the process
Chandigarh, May 17 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that for the convenience of the farmers, a new portal for payment of crop compensation will be launched soon and for this, the Revenue and Disaster Management Department has completed all the required preparations. Now farmers will also be able to register their crop loss details on this portal, he added.
Many times the estimates done by the Department do not match, therefore the government has now decided to provide this option of registering crop compensation to the farmers as well.
The Chief Minister said this while responding to the questions asked by media persons at the Haryana Niwas on Tuesday.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that through IT reforms the present State Government is working on the core mantra of Good Governance, under which several services are being provided through online medium.
Ensuring the reach of these welfare schemes to the grassroot level through IT mediums, an Orientation Programme was held for the MLAs.
During which detailed information of 15 portals being run by the government was given by the concerned departments.
Detailed information was shared about Gram Darshan Portal, Nagar Darshan Portal, Financial Assistance from Haryana Chief Minister Relief Fund, Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme, services of Yellow Ration Card, Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Haryana Engineering Works Portal, Online Transfer Policy, Parivar Pehchan Patra Portal, Meri Fasal-Mera Byora Yojana, e-Kharid Portal and Auto Appeal System etc. Besides this information was also shared about services.
Wheat procurement to continue till May 25
Responding to a question, Chief Minister said that 50 percent less wheat has been procured this year. Wheat has been sold above the MSP due to the export, but now the central government has banned the export. Now, wheat will be procured in the Mandis of Haryana till May 25. Farmers who are left with wheat stock can visit the Mandis and sell it in the mandi.
Panchayat and Civic Polls to be held soon
Responding to another question, the Chief Minister said that Panchayat and Civic Polls would be held soon. The government has urged the Commission to complete the formalities regarding the Election. Now the Haryana Election Commission has to decide on when the elections are to be held. The Commission has also started the process of completion of formalities related to the electoral, updating voter lists etc.
The Chief Minister said that the decision of contesting the election on symbols by BJP and JJP will be taken after discussion at the party level.
While replying to another question, the Chief Minister said that due to the non-availability of calculation based data on OBC reservation in Panchayati and civic elections, the court has put a stay on the elections. Now the State Government will collect unit wise data of OBC by setting up a separate Commission.

Responding to another question, the Chief Minister said that remaining connected with the public is his topmost priority. For this, these days, rallies are being organized in different districts.
